Definition The fourth growth phase in the USM Value Maturity Model, where a service provider prioritizes and integrates the needs, preferences, and feedback of customers into its services, processes, strategies, and decision-making.
Explanation This approach ensures that the services provided align closely with customer expectations and deliver high value. Every service delivery activity is perceived from the customer's perspective and interests.

The approach is externally focused and is used in a customer excellence strategy. See technology driven, system driven, service driven, and business driven.
