| Explanation | A process is a type of routine that is only composed of process steps, and thus activities and actions, and, therefore, only specifies the 'what'. A process does not specify the individual who executes the activity (as that would turn the process into a procedure), nor the technology used in the activity (as that would turn the procedure into a work instruction).
