Definition The series of stages a service goes through from its inception to its retirement.
Acronym
Explanation In the USM process model, the initiation is triggered with a wish, initiating a workflow that provides an agreed and deployed service. This service can be changed many times during its existence, until it finally ends with another wish to retire the service.
