Technical catalog

From USM Wiki

Preferred Term Technical catalog
Definition A list of the technical composition of services, including infrastructure components, workflows, manuals, organizational structures, and tooling.
Acronym
Explanation The technical catalog is a document, owned and prepared by the service provider, with its own organization in mind. Technical service components may look like building blocks for customer-facing services, but they are mainly relevant for the internal affairs of the service provider.

In USM, the technical catalog is based on the internal provider perspective, and the catalog may for that reason be named a “provider service catalog”. In case the service provider is positioned at level 1, 2 or 3 of the USM Value Maturity Model, the technical catalog may be the same as, or similar to, the service catalog. See request catalog.
