Definition Separating a task domain into two sub-task domains, with one domain specifying and the other domain realizing that specification.
Acronym
Explanation Example: separating functionality management and technology management. Domain separation is a type of separation of duties, and can be applied to any task domain as a mechanism to enhance control over that domain.
